Warehouse Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Glasgow (ML5 4RP), salary \xc2\xa333,072 per annum, 6am - 3pm Monday to Friday Premier Paper is one of the UK\'s largest distributors within the paper industry and part of the global OVOL Group. We are searching for an experienced Warehouse Manager for our branch in Glasgow. Although confident in working autonomously, you will report in to the Regional Logistics Manager and will be responsible for the management of all warehouse and delivery activity at our Glasgow branch and ensure an efficient integration of the depot with the wider Premier Paper Group logistics network. This will at times, require a hands-on approach, if activity or resource dictates Key Accountabilities

• Minimisation of costs for Sales teams
• Maximisation of service to our customers
• Health & Safety and Welfare of the team
• Day to day management of the operation

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience of the paper industry preferred (not essential)
• Experience of Logistics operations outside of the paper industry
• Experience of managing small teams of circa 10 including Warehouse Operatives & Class 2 drivers
• High degree of organisation
• A proven people manager
• MHE licence/Counter balance FLT, picking truck or flexi preferred (refresher training provided internally)
• PC literate, Microsoft Office (Excel preferable)
• Sound knowledge of AS400 or other enterprise management systems
• A good basic knowledge of Transport & Management
