Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and supply chain processes, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency. This role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your own time effectively while ensuring that all business processes are adhered to.

Duties

Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. Ability to work autonomously and to a high standard. Implement and maintain a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to optimise inventory control and order fulfilment processes. Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and documentation. Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations and improve service delivery. Conduct regular audits of inventory and equipment, addressing discrepancies promptly. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback from staff and implementing best practices.

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse management or related fields, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes. Familiarity with business processes related to logistics and inventory management. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing operations. Ability to operate forklifts safely and experience with narrow aisle / 'Bendi' trucks and advantage; forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks performed.
