Headlam, Europe's largest floor covering distributor, has an exciting opportunity for a Night Shift Warehouse Manager to join an inclusive and welcoming team. This full-time role comes with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Hours:

Sunday - Thursday Nightshift

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be operationally responsible for the site management of Warehouse colleagues on the night shift. You'll ensure operational plans are delivered to meet set objectives and deliver continuous improvement in the key areas of efficiency in trunk cross dock, non loads, bay scan and any cut/pick requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure safety of staff, equipment, and facilities, and promote a safety culture. Motivate, coach, and mentor subordinates, managing performance and KPIs. Forecast staffing levels and control holidays to meet operational demands. Complete documentation correctly and on time, train staff, and provide necessary resources. Create a positive working environment, ensure PPE is worn, and report accidents promptly. Manage absence in line with company policy Engage with colleagues ensuring they are enabled to feed back and see actions from their feedback.

Ability to inspire, lead, and motivate a team. Understanding and experience of HR, including disciplinary, capability, & absence management Experience in Warehouse environment 5+ years Proficient computer skills Experience with computerised WMS and barcoding systems
