We are Wilsons Carpets, a family business established in 1968. We employ 250 people across our stores, warehouse, transport & head office but still hold family business values. The warehouse is where we cut carpets and flooring to customers sizes and it is the heart of our business.

We are looking for a

Warehouse Manager who will lead our loading operation

to strengthen our warehouse team for the next stage of our growth.

Package



Salary : Up to 46,000 per annum (basic salary 37,500 to 40,000 per annum plus bonus)

Bonus : 6,000 per annum. Paid 500 per month (We expect a full bonus should be paid each month, based on achieving daily cutting & loading deadlines).

Shift Patterns : 45 hours per week

Full time permanent position, fixed PM Shift (see below)

Location : Unit 7 Houndhill Park, Bolton Road, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham, S63 7LG. Easily commutable from Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley, Sheffield etc.

Key responsibilities



Lead and motivate your team maintaining quality standards whilst hitting KPIs. Recruit, train & develop your team to build a strong capable workforce. Champion health & safety. Identify areas for improvements and implement changes. Coordinate outbound deliveries to ensure smooth logistics flow Ensure timely dispatch of goods in line with delivery schedules Conducting quality and quantity checks to meet company standards

The Right Candidate Will Have



Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, ideally involving process-driven tasks. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams. Ability to work hands-on and lead by example. Strong Health & Safety knowledge (IOSH certification preferred). A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving results.

We're looking for a Warehouse Manager to help us continue our company's growth as well as the growth of individuals within our teams.

You'll lead the PM Team in our busy warehouse operations. You'll be responsible for managing your team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring both safety and quality standards are upheld.

During your shift you will have responsibility for the entire warehouse operation. Each Warehouse Manager has specific focuses this roles focus is loading , but you are the overall point of contact when you are on duty.

You'll work closely with supportive Team Leaders who will help strengthen your team and a Warehouse administrator who will handle any desk-based tasks. You will also work with the rest of the warehouse management to maintain a smooth, efficient operation across shifts.

You'll be at the heart of operations leading from the warehouse floor. Once a month, you'll work as an operative to stay in touch with day-to-day tasks and processes, as well as using it as an opportunity to identify improvements to our workflows.

45 Hours per week.

PM Shift



Monday - Friday 13:30 - 23:00

Focus: Loading all vehicles & starting the following days cuts & picks.
