Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of the warehouse, focusing on logistics, supply chain processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong leader who can supervise staff, manage inventory, and optimise warehouse performance.

Duties

Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety regulations. Manage logistics and supply chain processes to improve operational performance. Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and support to ensure high performance. Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Utilise transportation management systems to track shipments and manage inventory levels. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and profit-loss statements. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

Experience

Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role is essential. Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience in supervising teams and managing performance effectively. Proficiency in operating forklifts and understanding safety protocols within a warehouse environment. Ability to analyse data related to inventory management and profit-loss metrics.
