We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks including inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
Job Overview:
To ensure that all warehouse operations are performed, on time and within budget. Through the allocation of heads to tasks, to meet the needs of the operation, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, loading of vehicles, storage and despatch of goods, stock management as well as Health & Safety compliance. All operations should be performed with RLND guidelines
Structure:
This role will report directly to the Night Shift Supervisor but will have a close relationship with all other shift patterns.

Key activities and responsibilities:
Must have experience of working within a team of warehouse operatives in a fast-moving environment.
Responsible for picking and packing, goods in and despatch including training and development.
Work on the flow of goods in and out of the warehouses in line with business requirements and customer demands
Work towards KPI's to exceed targets and drive ownership within the team
Identify, recommend and implement continuous improvements to current processes or procedures
Strive to improve customer service through accuracy and quality (reduction in mispick/CNF, etc.)
To complete regular stock counts/PI's accurately and within the financial boundaries.
Ad-hoc projects as required such as moving stock, development of warehouse space.
Experience and education:
Minimum of 5 years' experience working in high service level warehouse
Proven success in improving warehouse systems and processes
Creative and innovative approach with a high customer service focus
Experience of working in high pressured environment handling high number of orders
Forklift licence is required (Minimum Counter balance licence - Flexi Bendi an advantage)
Competency in Excel, Word and WMS systems
Good knowledge of health and safety legislation
Shift pattern
Sunday to Thursday 22:00-06:00 (including two 15 minutes unpaid breaks)
23 days Holiday - increasing to 25 after 3 years
