About the Role

We are looking for a

reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operational Assistant

to join our team on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on role supporting warehouse and dispatch operations, ensuring stock is ready to go, aisles remain organised, and the building is kept clean and efficient.

This position is ideal for someone with warehouse or manual-handling experience who enjoys varied work and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

A valid forklift licence is essential.

What You'll Be DoingCore Responsibilities

Painting and preparing colour strips to required standards Ensuring stock is prepped and ready for dispatch Shrink wrapping products Operating a forklift to move goods safely Managing damaged stock and organising items for repair or disposal Keeping aisles tidy and supporting stock rotation Removing rubbish and keeping work areas tidy Shredding cardboard and organising recycling Assisting with general cleaning of kitchen and communal areas Helping with simple handwork and general warehouse tasks Supporting the warehouse team during busy periods Assisting with stock checks and basic inventory tasks

What We're Looking ForEssential

Valid forklift licence Strong attention to detail Good organisational skills Reliable, punctual, and proactive Able to lift, bend, and carry safely Comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Desirable

Warehouse, cleaning, or production experience Experience with paint application or prep work Familiarity with stock handling or inventory systems Mechanical or basic hand-tool experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
