Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Administrator is responsible for assisting in the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse logistics, including inventory management, order processing, documentation, and coordination with internal departments and external suppliers or carriers. This role supports warehouse staff and management by maintaining accurate records and streamlining workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely handling
Generate and manage delivery and shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, etc.)
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to schedule deliveries and pickups
Monitor stock levels and raise internal replenishment requests when needed
Assist with cycle counts and annual inventory audits
Maintain data accuracy in systems and update databases regularly
Ensure compliance with safety and company policies in warehouse operations
Provide administrative support to warehouse supervisors and managers
Key Skills and Competencies:
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks under pressure
Basic understanding of health and safety standards in a warehouse environment
Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain administrative role
Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
