We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, managing stock, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. Responsibilities

Handling materials efficiently, including loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts Managing stock levels through accurate picking and packing of orders Operating warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records Assisting with shipping and receiving procedures to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods Stocking shelves and organising storage areas for optimal accessibility and safety Conducting quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to maintain standards Performing mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to during all warehouse activities Supporting the organisation of stock in accordance with company procedures

Skills

Proven experience in materials handling, picking & packing, and stock management within a warehouse setting Ability to operate forklift trucks safely; relevant certification is desirable but not essential Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing Knowledge of shipping & receiving protocols and documentation requirements Mechanical knowledge useful for equipment maintenance or troubleshooting issues Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock organisation and quality control processes Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including lifting loads up to specified weight limits Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required Physical fitness to perform manual tasks throughout shifts, including standing for extended periods
