Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves handling materials, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the facility. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, supporting shipping and receiving processes, and upholding quality standards. Prior warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are advantageous, but full training will be provided for suitable applicants committed to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Handling materials efficiently, including loading and unloading goods from lorries and storage areas Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and competently Managing stock levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements Picking & packing orders accurately for dispatch, ensuring correct quantities and item integrity Stocking shelves and organising storage areas to optimise space utilisation Assisting with shipping & receiving tasks, including documentation and inspection of incoming/outgoing goods Conducting quality control checks to maintain product standards Performing heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times Ensuring the warehouse environment remains clean, safe, and organised at all times

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of materials handling techniques and mechanical systems is advantageous Familiarity with forklift operation (certification is a plus) Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software is desirable Ability to perform picking & packing tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy Physical capability for heavy lifting and load/unload activities throughout shifts Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management and quality control processes

Pay: From 12.72 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
