Permanent Vacancy: Warehouse Operative



Ulster Wool is a farmer run organisation which was established in 1950 to operate a central marketing system for fleece wool.



Our depot located in Muckamore is now holding interviews to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join their Warehouse team. The successful applicant will be working within a fast-paced warehouse environment; ensuring the flow of wool through departments is completed to quality standards, the duties of the role are hands on and physically arduous and demanding nature.



Responsibilities:



Unloading of wool sheets from HGV'S



Weighing of sheets upon receipt into the warehouse, hoist operation



Prepare wool sheets to be transported to grading points



Transferring wool to various processes within the warehouse via skeps



Be flexible to work in varying positions throughout the warehouse operation

Be able to implement instruction/training provided



Work Hours: Seasonal schedules



8.00am to 15.30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8.00am to 14.30pm (34 hours per week)



7.00am to 16.30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 7.00am to 15.30pm (44 hours per week)



8.00am to 16.30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8.00am to 15.30pm (39 hours per week)



no weekend work, no overtime requirement.
