Temp to Perm role based in Barnstaple
Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm

The Company

A Manufacturer who delivers full cycle service from product design or transferring tooling, to production and delivery for diverse and challenging markets. They help to optimise the manufacturing process for their customers and are now seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer.

What is the purpose of the Warehouse Operative?

To support the moulding operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, solid organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

What are the responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative?

Ensure correct materials are supplied to the presses for the moulding process. Identify various material types and master batches. Maintain accurate records of materials in stock and carry out monthly stock takes. Follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and procedures. Keep material and master batch areas clean and well-organised at all times. Control and account for all returned materials from the mould shop. Support the Mould shop when required, as directed by supervision.

What are the qualifications and experience for the Warehouse Operative?

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook). Valid forklift license. Previous experience in a store or materials handling role. Good physical health - role involves manual handling and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes precisely.
