Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our busy warehouse by handling various tasks related to stock management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Perform picking and packing of orders accurately to ensure timely dispatch. Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all goods are accounted for. Manage materials handling, including loading and unloading of lorries. Maintain an organised warehouse environment by building and stocking shelves as needed. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate. Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse processes and improve efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential. Previous experience in operating forklifts; is an advantage but not essential. Folklift traning will be provided. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail for accurate picking, packing, and inventory management. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A team player with good communication skills who can work collaboratively with others.
