Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including the efficient handling of goods, ensuring the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load and unload goods safely. Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and locations. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to build pallets and prepare orders for dispatch. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper mechanical functionality.

Skills

Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems for effective inventory control. Experience in shipping and receiving processes is advantageous. Excellent materials handling skills to ensure safe transport of goods within the warehouse. A proactive approach to teamwork, with strong communication skills.
