Part Time Position - Warehouse Operative

6:30am - 2:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
13 per hour, additional hours available in the summer and over Christmas.

We are looking for a hard working individual to join our small team as a warehouse operative. We're a family run business retailing home and garden products online.

We retail and wholesale stone statues, cast iron ornaments, metal planters, resin sculptures etc. Products can be heavy and dirty so please be aware of this prior to applying for this job.

Please also be aware that we're packing orders to go out everyday so there will be a fast pace that you need to keep up with.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Picking & packing orders.
- Unloading and loading vans.
- Packing & unpacking pallets.
- Shredding cardboard (using a machine).
- Stock counting.
- Moving stock around the warehouse.
- Cleaning up as we go.
- There will also be the occasional day where you are asked to help in the manufacturing department. This will be to cover someone's holiday days, for example.

We're a small business & a small team so we all get stuck into whatever job needs doing on the day.

WORKING HOURS

This role is a permanent, part time position. Working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Working hours are 6:30am - 2:30pm.

Additional hours available during the summer and over Christmas if requested.

No experience is necessary, we encourage everyone to apply so long as you are willing to work hard.

PAY

13 per hour (16,224 yearly).

30 minute paid lunch every day.

17 holiday days (inc bank holidays).

We don't hire temporary employees. We're looking for someone who wants to work and grow within the company over the long-term.

Planned employment start date: ASAP.
