Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, shipping and receiving, and quality control. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Manage materials handling, including loading and unloading goods from lorries. Utilise a warehouse management system for tracking inventory levels and orders. Engage in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation. Perform picking and packing of products for dispatch. Maintain organisation within the warehouse, including stocking shelves and managing inventory. Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure standards are met. Assist with mechanical tasks as needed, demonstrating basic mechanical knowledge. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment, including forklifts. Proficient in using warehouse management systems for inventory tracking. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control processes. Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
