Warehouse Operative Dayshift

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be required to carry out general warehouse duties; including goods in, picking and packing, and completing duties for despatch and inventory as designated by your supervisor.
Day to day activities will include;
Operating Forklift Trucks within busy warehouse/yard environment Loading/unloading vehicles To deal with the movement of products and materials within the warehouse, using the appropriate FLT and/or other suitable material handling equipment Adopt a 'clean as you go' approach to ensure housekeeping standards are effectively maintained Carry out duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 Support and train colleagues where necessary, in line with work instructions and standard operating procedures Contribute and participate in Company activities Carry out additional and/or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business
The ideal candidate
must
hold a valid Forklift Licence and have previous experience working within a similar role. Applicants should also have;The ability to work to deadlines Good communication skills The ability to work with minimum supervision Awareness of current Health & Safety practices
Hours of work
Permanent dayshift 8:30-5pm

Pay: 12.79 per hour
