We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and possess a strong understanding of materials handling. This role involves various tasks including loading and unloading goods, stocking shelves, and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Utilise a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage stock.
Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation of goods.
Assist with picking and packing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Perform shipping and receiving duties, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
Load and unload lorries, ensuring that all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained appropriately.
Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems such as AS400 is beneficial.
Experience in materials handling, including heavy lifting (up to 25 kg).
Skills in stocking, picking & packing, as well as shipping & receiving processes are desirable.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
