We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Reach FLT Warehouse operative to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Main Duties include but are not limited to:
Handling loads in a safe manner and at a safe speed
Checking and placing pallets, picking for dispatch
Moving goods on pallets around the warehouse
Stock order picking, unloading/loading of deliveries
Unloading containers and repacking
Completing paperwork for delivery notes and stock control if requested
Report any breakdowns/issues to the Manager
Working as part of a team, complying with all company / health and safety legislation, general housekeeping duties of the warehouse
The Candidate - Skills & Experience required:
Previous experience in Reach FLT driving
Reach FLT licence and/or refresher certificates essential
Candidates must be able to work as a team in a fast paced environment
Good level of numeracy and literacy skills
Previous warehouse picking/loading experience
Competent to use scan picking guns/computer systems
Good communication skills- written and verbal
reliable and trustworthy and be flexible in supporting your colleagues and managers to achieve targets and objectives
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
