We are looking for a

Warehouse Operative with a valid FLT Counter Balance licence

to join our dedicated and friendly team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, varied position within our warehouse team. You'll be responsible for ensuring smooth product flow from the packing line through to dispatch. With tasks ranging from palletising, stock rotation, and allergen segregation to forklift operations, this role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Packing finished product at the end of the line to customer specification and palletising correctly for dispatch. Managing

goods in/goods out

processes with accuracy and efficiency. Maintaining allergen segregation and correct bay management at all times. Issuing materials using

FIFO principles

and supporting accurate stock rotation. Driving a forklift truck safely and efficiently, including to cover Warehouse Supervisor absence. Using internal systems (e.g., Notazone, OEE) for traceability, stock management, and reporting. Supporting stock takes and general warehouse operations. Keeping the warehouse

tidy, safe, and organised

. Loading/unloading materials, wrapping pallets, and handling stock safely. Flexibly assisting production teams when required.
What We're Looking For

Current

FLT Counter Balance Licence

(essential). Previous warehouse experience (2+ years preferred, ideally in food manufacturing). Fit, energetic, and comfortable with physical tasks such as pallet wrapping, loading, and manual handling. Strong communication skills, confident in meetings and reporting. Computer literate with stock management systems experience (Notazone desirable but not essential). Methodical, detail-focused, and highly organised. Positive, proactive, and eager to contribute to continuous improvement. Reliable, flexible, and safety-conscious.
