Job Description

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for picking and packing products in a timely and efficient manner, ranging from parcels to pallets. You will also be required to manage inventory, unload containers and experience on a forklift would be an advantage.

The position is full-time Monday-Friday, 9-5.30, with additional hours available during peak business periods. As such, access to a vehicle or living within walking distance is highly advised.

Candidates must be experienced in warehousing operations including: picking and packing orders; managing inventory; unloading HGVs and shipping containers by hand; and liaising with sales personnel to provide order status updates. Training will be provided but experience is required.

Forklift experience and the ability to work additional hours when necessary are highly advantageous.

Duties:

Pack products according to customer specifications Inspect products for defects and damages Label and mark packages appropriately Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and guidelines Managing warehouse inventory Unloading containers by hand
Requirements:

Warehouse Experience Forklift Experience (highly advantageous) Attention to detail Good communication skills and can work well in a team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
