We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, materials handling, and order fulfilment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Perform picking and packing of orders accurately to ensure timely dispatch.
Maintain an organised stock area, ensuring that all materials are stored correctly.
Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment.
Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock movements.
Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Assist in the building of displays or setups as needed for promotional activities.
Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Experience
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is advantageous.
Demonstrated mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Experience in materials handling and understanding of safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job effectively.
