Warehouse Operative

Current hours of work are:

Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm

Overtime rate applies between 8am - 9am daily.

Additional overtime opportunities are available. This will be discussed further at interview. National Minimum and Living wage limits apply.

: Warehouse based role on site at Storm Xccessories Ltd.

Storm Xccessories Ltd. has a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual, who has experience of working in a fast paced environment, achieving targets, and have good written and verbal communication skills. We work with modern warehousing technology so previous experience would be advantageous but not essential.

What will you be doing:

Working as a Warehouse Operative, the main aim of this role is to ensure our customer's orders are picked, packed, and ready to be delivered as promptly and as professionally as possible. Restocking our warehouse is a key element of this role and use of our modern technology is necessary to ensure that you can achieve targets set out by the company. You will ensure the safety of our team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health and safety in our warehouse at all times.

Duties:

Picking and Packing orders for dispatch. This includes moving and handling of large products.

Receiving and checking incoming deliveries.

Offloading, itemising, labelling and organising bay allocations.

Keeping the work area clean and tidy.

Maintaining a safe working environment.

Other ad hoc tasks as requested by your Line Manager.

Essential Criteria:

Ability to work to deadlines.

Proven experience of hitting targets.

Willingness to work hard as part of a team.

Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities.

Ability to adapt to new systems, and a positive "can-do" attitude.

Strong attention to detail and ensuring accuracy.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Full UK driving licence.

Ability to work overtime as and when required.

Desirable Criteria:

Experience in a fast paced Warehouse environment.

Forklift Licence - Counterbalance/Reach Truck.

MEWP Licence - Genie Scissor Lifts.

Knowledge of Stock Control Software.
