Lincat - Warehouse Operative - Nights

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy team working on the night shift, working 40 hours per week, from Monday to Thursday on 10-hour shifts.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Working as part of the Finished Goods team, you will be responsible for: Taking delivery of goods, stock and supplies. Storing of goods. Preparation of stock for dispatch. Loading of stock by hand or forklift. Keeping records of stock. Assisting with stock taking. Keeping the Warehouse and work area clean and tidy. Loading and unloading of goods from the vehicle. Develop and maintain good working relationships with other internal departments to achieve accurate and timely delivery of products. Work as a full team member by carrying out any other duties which may reasonably be requested of the role when required. Undertake all duties in such a manner as to comply with Health & Safety and security procedures and guidelines.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

Good general level of education. Prior experience of working as a Warehouse Operative or stores/distribution function. Certification to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery is essential. Ability to work as part of a team. Time management skills and the ability to assess and manage priorities. Ability to work calmly under pressure. Diligent attention to detail. Good numeracy skills. Flexible and adaptable. Understanding of Warehouse processes. Understanding of Health and Safety and security procedures. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft software, particularly Word and Excel.
