Warehouse Operative - Order Picker (13 hour shift rotational)

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives to join our team at Uform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the picking of customer orders to specified finishes ensuring all items meet Uform's quality. You will report to the Business Unit Manager. This position will cover the company 13 hour rotational shift pattern,

Mon / Tue / Wed then Thurs / Fri / Sat 6am to 7pm

This role comes with a

13% Shift Allowance.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Ability to carry out all picking activities covering both ex-stock Production and specials quickly, accurately and efficiently. Work as part of the team to ensure that the daily picking targets are met. Always check range and measure

every

piece, whether door or drawer front to ensure accuracy when picking sanded / primed stock. Scan the barcode on labelled product to ensure correct item being picked for ex-stock products. Bundle lengths with correct order number for traceability Familiarise yourself with all relevant picking operational procedures for OAK, COURIER, DPD, (COD, CONE, COM, COB) and COLLECTION orders and comply with all instructions eg. Scanning to crates when necessary. Familiarise yourself and comply with Uform's quality standards Make improvement suggestions and be fully involved in continuous improvements activity in your department. Actively participate in your weekly team briefings. Ensure that all housekeeping within your working area and equipment used are treated with and maintained to the highest possible standards. Comply fully with all Company Health and Safety policies. Either hold or be willing to undertake picker truck test Previous order picking experience (scanner, pick by voice headset) Any other duties deemed reasonable.

Salary: 12.61 per hour plus 13% shift rate
