Steeldeck Rentals has been providing creative, flexible, and safe temporary staging and tiered seating solutions for a wide range of events and productions for over 30 years.

Our Warehouse Operatives are the backbone of our company and vital for our continued success. Working with our product can be a very physical process and candidates should be aware of this. This is a busy and exciting time to join Steeldeck, and due to our continued expansion, we are looking for a hardworking and dedicated individual to join our team based in our London depot in South Bermondsey.

Role and Responsibilities:

Working alongside our warehouse manager and warehouse team to assist with the safe loading, storing, and stock selection duties to prepare kit to be sent to site. Assisting in the safe loading and unloading of Steeldeck fleet vehicles and vehicles sent by customers or logistics partners. Assisting in preparing kit lists for projects, ready for the stock to be transported to site. Stock maintenance and checks. Taking a proactive approach to health and safety and proper manual handling techniques by keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and safe.
Experience:

Forklift driving experience with relevant tickets is essential. Able to promote a positive mental attitude and working environment, remaining approachable to a variety of team members. Flexibility, good communication skills and being able to work independently and as a part of a team are critical. An understating of health and safety and safe working practices.
Working Hours: Normal working hours are 0800-1630 Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Salary: Hourly rate dependent on experience. Weekly salary for a 24-hour week, not including overtime. Overtime is payable at standard time for evenings and Saturdays and time and a half for Sundays, bank holidays. Holiday allowance of 25 days (per year pro rata) plus bank holidays.
