Main purpose of the role:



Pick, pack, store and load company products to ensure deliveries are both on time and in full. Support the team wherever possible to ensure production runs smoothly and safely and provide cover with other shifts for sickness / training.

Key tasks and responsibilities:



Competent operation of the warehouse D365 WMS computer system.
Transporting product from packing lines, carry out check on slip sheet positioning and pallet presentation, wrap, label and store in designated location using WMS.

Loading of trailers Complete pick tasks to meet customer orders, communicating any issues to the Packer and Shift Manager Achieve, maintain & raise hygiene standards. Complete all required food safety and quality documentation. Cover packing line operation as and when required Carry out HACCP checks Work with team members to best meet the needs of the manufacturing/packing plan Liaise closely with the blending plants and millers to achieve an efficiently run Packing Line and Warehouse Complete plant safety checks Risk assess and manage safe working in the Packing Production areas including warehouse Ensure that packing consumables and finished products are handled in accordance with company process standards Co-operate and work with the cleaning teams to give an integrated approach to plant hygiene Ensure accurate reporting of maintenance problems Accept training for personal and company development Comply with company procedures and requirements Carry out other tasks as requested by the Production Manager.
