Warehouse Operative/ Stores Handler (Manufacturing)

Monday to Friday (8am/9am - 4pm/5pm)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Stores team, here at ChargePoint Technology, in the role of Stores Handler. Reporting into the Stores Team Leader you will be responsible for managing all inventory control related activities, executing inventory control measures to ensure the Company maximises stock system and paperwork accuracy.

Main Duties include:

Responsible for receiving goods into the system and ensuring correct documentation is stored against the goods receipt, alongside allocating the goods to the correct location. Ensure all sub-contracts are picked, issued and packed ready to be sent. Picking and packing of spares orders, including the correct documentation for the customer and meeting the business delivery on time targets. Ensure all finished goods are securely packed and the correct weight and dimensions are passed to logistics. Keeping the stores area organised, tidy and controlled to sufficiently support production. Ensure works orders are fully picked and issued to allow for the production teams to complete builds in a timely manner. Participate in perpetual stock counting/inventory accuracy checks as well as planned annual stock takes to ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system. Maintain the company's material and stocked product inventory to minimise overtstocks and removal of oselete/redundant raw materials and maintain stock locations correctly. Maintain control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved. Loading and unloading of vehicles using FLT/Reach Truck. Driving the company van to transfer stock between our two facilities
You will be a team-player, who is an effective communicator with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to work productively and effectively with minimal supervision to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high attention to detail and quality.
