Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks associated with materials handling, stocking, and logistics. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods from lorries and containers with care and efficiency. Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery as required. Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate stock levels. Perform picking and packing of orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy in quantities and product selection. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management tasks. Handle materials safely, including heavy lifting as necessary. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment is advantageous. Experience with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is beneficial. Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction may be an asset for certain tasks.
