Job Description
We are currently recruiting for
Voice Order Pickers / Warehouse Operatives
to join our well-respected team based inWashington, Tyne and Wear (NE38).
This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and ongoing work, a minimum of
24Hrs every weekend on a set shift pattern of 14:00-22:00, Friday, Saturday & Sunday + Additional Days can be requested.
Note this role is carried out within a Chilled Environment (3 -5 degrees)
Day to Day Duties
Picking food products within a chilled section - must be comfortable with working in low & cold temperatures (3 -5 degrees) Using a voice picking system/scanner to locate products Ability to work towards targets (KPIs) to ensure productivity targets are met Operating pump trucks Excellent punctuality, performance & reliability Good health and safety awareness
Full training will be provided.
Essential Skills
Previous experience in a warehouse environment Good level of English The ability to work in a team or alone Punctuality and good time-keeping skills Flexibility and ability to work overtime if required Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Ability to pay close attention to detail and adhere to deadlines
Hours
Afternoon Shift: 14:00 - 22:00
Pay Rate
Starting at 14.32 Per Hour (increasing to 15.17 after 12 weeks and further increasing to 16.17 after 27 weeks).
EXPERIENCE AS AN ORDER PICKER ISN'T ESSENTIAL HOWEVER EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A CHILLED WAREHOUSE ENVIRONMENT IS DESIRED.
