VACANCY: FLT / Warehouse Operative - Weekends

LOCATION

:

Rotherham, S60 (Close to Meadowhall, Sheffield)

SHIFT PATTERN : Friday to Sunday 6am - 6pm, 3 x 12 hour days.

ABOUT US:

MTL Advanced is a Yorkshire-based steel engineering and manufacturing company operating from a 390,000 sq. ft. facility in Rotherham.

We have invested in an extensive range of technology and equipment and provide services to a range of OEM's from leading industries including defence, security, construction, quarrying, recycling and rail.

Our inhouse capabilities include, large format Laser Cutting and Press Braking, CNC Precision Machining, Fabrication & Welding, Shot Blasting, Painting and final Assembly.

We are looking to add a multi-skilled FLT Operative to join our Warehousing team. This is an exciting and varied role made up of supporting our operations ensuring that the stock movements around our 300,000sqft factory operate smoothly and efficiently.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Book parts in to stock using our internal warehouse computer system Create picking lists, kit and deliver parts to the correct departments from the warehouse as well as book out the stock on the system Housekeeping - ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the Departments and Profile Compound are maintained to a high standard at all times to comply with Health and Safety standards Maximise the uptime of the machines by delivering materials in a timely manner Collect parts from various machines and departments and book the parts into stock

ABOUT YOU:

Valid and in-date FLT Counterbalance licence Previous warehousing experience; logistics, despatch, FLT, engineering or manufacturing Excellent levels of numeracy and literacy A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
