Introduction / Overview

The Component Distributors Group is the largest wholesale distributor of vehicle replacement spares in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. As part of our continued development, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with cover driver responsibilities to play a key role in our business.

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our growing team based in Blackwater road, Mallusk.

Vacancy: Warehouse Operative

Hours of work: 40 hours per week; Mon to Fri 09:30 to 18:00

Reports to: Warehouse supervisor

Job type: Full Time; Permanent

Probation: 6 months from start date

Rate of pay: 12.27 per hour

Job summary / Role and Responsibilities

Well organised and have a professional attitude towards customer service. Work as part of the general warehouse team picking orders, checking and packing of orders, putting away stock or stock taking. Cover delivery driving when required - 3 years driving - clean licence preferred Other ad-hoc duties as requested by supervisor including but not limited to projects, Hygiene and standards Comply with Company policy and procedure in wearing PPE and following required health and Safety protocols. Comply with required policy and procedure in reporting sickness, requesting annual leave and any other relevant process. Participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's objectives.

Essential Criteria

Eligibility to work in Northern Ireland.

Able to read and write fluently.

Previous experience of Warehouse work
