Warehouse Operative/delivery Driver

Job Description

The role of the Warehouse operative and driver is to ensure the smooth running of all stores and sub-stores maintained by Morepour Ltd. To work with the Warehouse Manager to ensure effective organisation as well as supporting the business on a day-to-day basis. A large part of your duties will be delivering and stocking our sub-depots. Lone working and self-management skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities will be as below:

Warehouse -



1. Oversee store locations, ensuring all stores and sub-stores are kept fully stocked.

2. To manage stock and monitor sub depots.

3. Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision.

4. Ensure efficient space utilisation and layout. Ensure stores is organised to increase productivity.

5. Manage stock control by completing regular stock takes on all company owned equipment.

6. To work with Stores Manager to organise all stock takes.

7. Working alongside the Directors to liaise with suppliers and transport companies to ensure all inbound and outbound deliveries are completed as required.

8. Ensure deliveries are checked prior to signing off where possible.

9. Ensure the Warehouse area and Operations office is clean and tidy.

10. Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.

11. Local deliveries if required of bars and units.

Technicians -



1. Ensure all equipment is picked and ready for collection to reduce technician time at stores.

2. Be prepared to take on a deliveries of bars or units to cover sickness/holiday and/or help out in busy periods

3. Manage usage of pick sheets for all jobs, including technician sign off, to ensure correct equipment is picked.

4. Implement returns process and ensure all technicians follow process, reporting any issues to Project Manager.

5. Maintain regular contact with engineers with reference to pick up and collection of equipment.

6. To assist Health & Safety representative in furthering our policies surrounding safe working practises and decreasing our carbon footprint.

Technician Vehicles -



1. Complete regular Luton inspections for each company vehicle to check functionality and cleanliness. Reports to be passed to Office Manager to record and for action to be taken.

Events -



1. Ensure all Lindr/PortaPints units are cleaned when returned.

2. Clean and flush all bars on return ready for the next event.

3. Check all units are chilling and compressor is working before dispatching.

4. Work alongside Office Manager and Directors to ensure all event jobs are reviewed in good time to ensure equipment is available.

5. Send all flight cases and ensure the returns

6. Inform Warehouse Manager of additional event equipment from breweries where applicable.

Online sales -



1. Work alongside the Warehouse Manager to ensure all online/shop sales are processed and recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

2. Liaise with Warehouse Manager to arrange deliveries and collections via courier service, as well as pallet companies when applicable.

Hours-



Monday to Friday 06.30 - 15.30

These times may vary depending on time of year and workload

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00 per year
