WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE/ FLT Driver

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our Normanton Site.

SHIFT

This will be a 3 shift rotation of 40 hours per week (days & afternoons)

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To participate fully as a member of the Warehouse team, ensuring that all Warehouse and Distribution requirements are met. To ensure that all activities are conducted in a manner which satisfies all internal company procedures and standards, including H&S and Food Safety. To ensure all products are received and distributed in line with company standards without exception. To organise and undertake the safe loading and unloading of vehicles in a timely manner. At all times ensure the highest level of Health & Safety and Food Safety standards are maintained. To maintain accurate stocks of raw materials and finished goods, including actively participating in physical inventory & stock checks. To ensure that all products are stored correctly in the warehouse following the WM system. To fully utilise the SAP system to ensure that all stock movements are recorded in accordance with company procedure.

ESSENTIAL WORK EXPERINCE & COMPETENCIES

Relevant forklift truck licence. Able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels. Adaptable and flexible approach - ability to provide cover when necessary. Good interpersonal skills - polite, pleasant and cooperative, with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships. A logical and systematic approach to problem solving. Effective planning, organisational and time management skills. A good standard of literacy and numeracy. Relevant experience in a Warehouse environment.
