Forklift Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative

Pitstone, with occasional travel to our other site (fuel covered)

Salary:

28,000 per annum

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (1-hour unpaid break)

Holiday:

20 Days of annual holiday + all Bank holidays

Overview:

Chiltern Transport & Warehousing Ltd is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team. You'll be responsible for loading/unloading vehicles, general warehouse operations, and ensuring site safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Load/unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently Operate Forklift Trucks (Counterbalance & Bendi/Flexi) - valid licenses required Manual order picking, pallet wrapping, and labelling Handball unloading of 20ft/40ft containers Goods receiving and inspection Keep warehouse and yard areas clean, safe, and organised Control vehicle and visitor access to the site Follow company safety, ISO & BRC standards

Requirements:

Valid Forklift licenses (Counterbalance & Bendi/Flexi) Previous warehouse experience preferred Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures Good communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
