Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are handled, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Load and unload goods from lorries and containers with precision and care. Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed correctly. Handle materials safely, including heavy lifting of items as required. Utilise forklifts and other equipment for materials handling, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse. Assist in inventory counts and audits as directed by management. Sometimes making deliveries to customers

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Proficient in shipping and receiving processes. Capability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift. Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping. A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving. UK Driving license required 7.5tonne capability would be preferred but not essential

Pay: 25,000.00-27,000.00 per year
