Shift Pattern: 4 days on 4 days off

Working Hours: 6am - 5pm

Pay Rate: 13.74 per hour (+6 per week with reach truck/counterbalance licence)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Despatch Operative to join our Despatch Department.

As a Despatch Operative, you will play a leading part within the team to help achieve the daily plan whilst adhering to processes and procedures. Within this role you will be factory-based handling packaged and boxed meat products in preparation for products to be despatched from the business.

You will:

Ensure that all customer orders are picked, labelled and secure so that they are presented to our customers to the highest possible standard as required. Assist when required in the loading and off-loading of vehicles and the movement of stock or equipment around the site. Ensure that any issues that could result in a shortage of stock and/or the timely despatch of products to customers are reported immediately. Maintain a clean and tidy area adhering to safety and hygiene requirements. Complete any other tasks required as requested by management.
