Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Warehouse Operative/Forklift driver to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the yard area and goods in area, ensuring that all materials and equipment are stored properly.

This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to analyse situations to improve yard operations.

Fork lift licence is required.

Manual lifting will be involved.

Pay is based on age and exsperince.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and organised yard environment by regularly clearing debris and ensuring proper storage of products, and stock. Assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed. Conduct regular inspections of the yard to identify any hazards or maintenance needs, reporting them promptly. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding yard operations and any issues that arise. Perform data entry tasks related to inventory management and yard operations as required. Ensuring deliveries are delivered to goods in and nothing gets lost or miss placed.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills to assess yard operations and suggest improvements. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with yard maintenance, including lifting and moving materials as needed with a forklift. Familiarity with data entry processes is beneficial for managing inventory records efficiently.
