Job Overview


Support the delivery of Sales Orders to our customers in a safe and efficient manner to ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery ensuring the accuracy of documentation completion to maintain the accuracy of the stock file. Highlight any issues with stock accuracy or customer deliveries to the Warehouse and logistics Manager. Use all Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) in a safe manner. Provide support, training and guidance for new and training staff on systems and ways of working. Propose improvements to systems, communication methods and ways of working to maximise operational efficiencies in line with our continuous improvement culture. These activities will require good communication skills and a strong sense of team work and a good work ethic.

Duties


The post holder will support the on time, in full delivery of goods to our customers, maintaining safety, accuracy and quality at all time through activities which include but are not limited to the following:

Warehouse Operations



Pick, pack and assemble goods according to the Sales Order Requirements

Ensure that the product being despatched meets the high quality standards expected by our Team and our Customers

Ensure that the despatch schedule is adhered to so that our OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery targets are achieved

Ensure that activities are completed in an efficient manner with the lowest possible waste

Action any stock queries on a timely manner, ensuring that stock counts are completed with a high degree of accuracy

Offload inbound stock and action put away into the appropriate storage areas

Maintain First In First Out (FIFO) stock rotation ensuring that all customer batch and life rules are adhered to

Put away finished goods stock from the manufacturing area into the relevant storage locations maintaining FIFO rules

Pick finished goods and semi-finished goods for use in the production area ensuring compliance to FIFO rules

Investigate delivery discrepancies and feedback to the relevant stakeholders as required

Escalate MHE issues to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager in a timely manner

Complete MHE safety checks as required

Carry out racking inspections as required

Escalate hardware, software and operational issue to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager

File and archive documentation in line with business policies and procedures

Demonstrate a flexible attitude, moving work location and changing activities in line with business needs

Ensure that the work area is kept tidy and well organised in line with GMP-e requirements

Demonstrate excellent communication skills whilst positively engaging with other Team Members and the wider business

Promote a positive team spirit

Share best practice and contribute to continuous improvement activities

Suggest improvements to existing processes and procedures

Promote the reduction of energy consumption in the workplace

Reduce, reuse and recycle materials where possible and where necessary to dispose of materials carefully to ensure Company compliance with legal obligations

Qualifications



Valid FLT Licence

Experience of working as part of a Warehouse team

Works in an organised manner

Must be able to demonstrate a high level of dexterity and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Effective communication skills

Ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times

Demonstrated understanding of safe working practices within a industrial environment

Good and Safe Manual Handling Skills

Good IT Skills for data entry

Job Type: Full-time
