Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver PM Shift

16:00-20:30

Chard, Somerset

Job Type:

22.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday. There may be a requirement to work the occasional Saturday if required for the operation.

We have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence working for a high profile and fast-moving family-owned Transport and Distribution Service - based in Chard, Somerset.

We are currently looking for a new team member to join our team. You will play an integral part in our operation by ensuring that the warehousing requirements are met.

The Role:

Working in a fast-based Warehouse, daily duties will include;

Taking delivery of pallets and storing them within the Warehouse Checking for damaged or missing items on the pallet Moving pallets as appropriate Packing and wrapping goods Loading pallets for sending out for deliveries Keeping stock records Cleaning the warehouse and yard Manually handling goods when necessary Completing paperwork for delivery notes and stock control

Essential Skills:

Current Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence (Refresher can be given if needed)

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Knowledge of or experience in a pallet network (advantageous)
