Purpose of the role -

To provide an efficient warehouse service to all areas of the business through the warehouse, goods inward and dispatch area. Ensure that all goods received and dispatched are correctly logged and accounted for, moved to the correct location & protected from damage and deterioration through proper storage. Perform Fork Lift Truck (FLT) duties when required.

Key Accountabilities

Locate and pick items for the sub module build lists and priorities Load/unload of goods in/out Packing of goods for deliveries to internal and external locations. Driving - use FLT for deliveries and collections when needed. Maintain secure storage environment Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Unloading/loading of all deliveries and collections within goods inward, dispatch and warehouse department supporting build area when required Maintain a secure storage environment for all items retained in the warehouse to protect from theft or misappropriation. All movement of items in and out of warehouse should be properly tracked, recorded and accepted at its destination. This will ensure that there is always an accurate record of items in the warehouse and that any missing items can be identified quickly and tracked back to their last known location. Prepare sub module items for use in the assembly of machines ensuring that the correct quantity of items is selected/picked and that stocks are replenished when needed. This will ensure the swift selection of components for the creation of regularly used items. Contribute toward continuous improvement initiatives, making recommendations on changes where a benefit can be identified. Prepare goods for dispatch by ensuring they are clean and fit for delivery, applying protective wrapping and palletizing goods. Help maintain a tidy and organised warehouse working environment ( Sustained 6S) Carry out administrative tasks to ensure accurate information is available e.g. on 'Kits' stock levels and orders, scan delivery notes, adding BOMs to the system for kitting Work with all Mpac Lambert colleagues to ensure compliance with ISO14001, ISO9001 and OHSAS18001 and support a culture of lean and continuous improvement by complying with appropriate SOP's using correct PPE.

Knowledge, experience & skills

Attention to detail Orgainsed Health and Safety awareness in Warehouse environment Experience of preparing and packaging goods for transport Experience of working with customs for receiving and sending of goods ( Desirable ) Forklift Truck certificate is (essential) Right to work in the UK
Currently 2 positions are available due to work demand and onsite position.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-26,500.00 per year
