Job Opportunity - Forklift/Warehouse Operative

Job brief:

Bring Cargo Ltd based in Stallingborough are currently looking at recruiting a new forklift/ warehouse operative due to our continued growth & expansion. The successful applicants must possess previous warehouse experience of import/export groupage trailers and work well within a fast paced and constant changing environment.

Must hold a current Fork Truck License.

Must have a driving license.

Job details:

Working week consists of 45 hours per week which is spread over 6 days a week Monday - Saturday on a 2 rotating shift pattern.

Shift Hours:

Earlies:

Monday - 7am - 4pm Tuesday - 7am - 3pm Wednesday - 7am - 3pm Thursday - 7am - 4pm Friday - 7am - 7pm Saturday - 6am - 10am

1 hour unpaid lunch Mon - Fri - 12pm-1pm.

Lates:

Monday - 9am - 7pm Tuesday - 10am - 7pm Wednesday - 10am - 7pm Thursday - 9am - 7pm Friday - 7am - 7pm Saturday - Off

1 hour unpaid lunch - Mon - Fri - 1pm-2pm

Responsibilities:

Receive and process pallets/tanks/containers. Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilisation. Report any discrepancies of cargo being received into the terminal. Communicate and cooperate with Supervisors/Manager & coworkers. Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations. Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork/manifests. Loading / unloading a modern fleet of groupage trailers servicing Europe. Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy. Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors. Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules, and schedules. Treating cargo with care and attention. Moving Containers/Trailers/Tanks on site using specialist equipment.
