Role: Warehouse Operative/Driver

Location: Walsall, On-site
Salary: 27-30k - depending on experience
Contracted hours: Mon-Fri 8.00 - 5.00PM with 30min lunch

What would you be doing?

Working as part of the Warehouse and Distribution team, the responsibilities for this role are listed below. The role will be 50/50 split between driving and warehouse so we are looking for someone who would be happy fulfilling both roles with flexibility.

Driver responsibilities:

- Transporting goods

- Loading / unloading vehicles

- Vehicle safety checks

- Handling customer interactions

Warehouse responsibilities:

- Keeping stock organised

- Picking and packing orders

- Receiving goods inwards

- Scanning and filing paperwork

What attributes and experience would you have?

The successful applicant for this role will have:

- Previous driver experience including London round trips

- Valid and clean drivers license

- Customer Service experience - interacting face to face with customers

- The ability to complete duties to a high standard with great attention to detail

- A positive, trustworthy, can-do attitude

- Fastener/construction industry experience is desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.25-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
