Circa. 30k (including shift premium) + forklift allowance + bonus + benefits

Double Day Shift

Working Hours:



Mon - Thu: 06:00 - 14:00, Fri: 06:00 - 12:00
Mon - Thu: 13:45 - 21:45 - Fri: 11:45 - 17:45

The Role:



We're seeking a proactive and logical Materials Operator to facilitate our day-to-day Warehouse operations in-line with required GDP, EHS and legislative requirements. Working across the full Warehouse lifecycle, you'll receive incoming deliveries (including packaging and raw materials) for safe storage and sampling (for quality, quantity and condition), complete relevant Goods-in processes and ensure all necessary documentation and ERP updates are accurately updated. To support our Manufacturing and Packing operations, you'll work closely with the teams to understand daily and weekly production plans in order to assemble relevant packs of raw materials and packaging for each line in a timely manner. Once complete, you'll collect the finished products for careful storage in our Warehouse, preparing orders for distribution against agreed schedules and completing necessary Goods-out processes, documentation and system updates. Taking Quality and Safety seriously, you will follow all processes and work instructions closely, reporting any deviations for investigation, as required. Where issues or changes in production / distribution plans arise, you'll work closely with other departments to troubleshoot, keeping key stakeholders informed on progress. You'll also proactively identify better ways of working across our Warehouse, making informed suggestions and supporting the rollout of any continuous improvement initiatives.

The Person:



Experience in a similar fast-paced Warehouse role, ideally within a regulated environment (e.g. food, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, chemical).

Good understanding of GMP, GDP and EHS requirements, and understands the importance of following processes and instructions closely and in a professional manner.

Good communication skills (written and spoken), able to build good working relationships, navigate cultural differences and work on own initiative or in a team.

Able to manage own workload to deadline, maintain a good eye for detail and problem solve, even in a busy and changeable work environment

Good IT skills across Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new company systems.

A good level of general health (including for manual handling) and comfortable to work in an enclosed, indoor environment.

Current Forklift Truck licences would be beneficial for this role but not essential as training can be provided.
