Job Summary:

Red Rhino Crushers (UK) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Operator to join our team in Grantham. The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for a variety of warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of materials within our facility. This role is crucial to maintaining our production schedule and fulfilling customer orders promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving Goods:

Unload incoming deliveries, verifying contents against purchase orders and delivery notes. Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues to the relevant department. Accurately record incoming stock and place it in designated storage locations.

Stock Management:

Maintain an organised and tidy warehouse environment. Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory management, ensuring accuracy of stock records. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training can be provided if necessary).

Order Fulfilment:

Pick and stage materials and components for production orders according to picking lists. Prepare outgoing shipments, including accurate picking, packing, and labelling of goods. Load outgoing vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.

Documentation and Administration:

Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, including goods received notes, picking lists, and dispatch notes. Utilise warehouse management systems (Mietrack) or other software for data entry and tracking.

Health and Safety:

Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures. Maintain a safe working environment and report any hazards or incidents.

General Duties:

Assist with general warehouse upkeep and cleaning. Support other departments as required to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. Forklift license (counterbalance and/or reach truck) is highly desirable, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Basic computer literacy for data entry and using warehouse management systems. Good understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
