Warehouse Operative
preferably with experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability through a strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Within the role you will be expected to:
Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders according to Schedule (Pack, Wrap, Label & Despatch).
Load courier Transport & Unload returns or deliveries.
Participate in stock takes, stock checks
Use an inhouse database system (RADIUS)
Uphold high standards in quality and service delivery
Achieve departmental objectives by engaging in process improvement initiatives.
Work effectively within the team and support colleagues across departments.
Comply with MCC's global safety standards.
Actively participate in hazard identification and corrective actions.
Support continuous safety improvements across the department and the wider business
Required Skills and Experience
Valid, in-date R.T.I.T.B. or I.T.S.S.A.R. accredited counterbalance forklift licence (essential).
VNA forklift licence (desirable).
Flexibility to work rotating shift patterns.
Strong performance ethic with attention to detail.
Numerate, articulate, and conscientious in work approach.
Knowledge of modern warehousing practices and systems.
Experience with goods in, dispatch, production delivery, and returns handling.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems, ideally Radius or equivalent.
Understanding of quality assurance and customer service principles.
Adheres to company HSE policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Self-motivated, with a willingness to develop professionally.
Hands-on, dependable, and focused on delivering results.
The person chosen will be required to maintain, enhance and develop their knowledge, skills and aptitudes necessary to respond to changing situations. Hours of Work:
40 hours per week, the site operates a 24/6 Sunday to Friday working pattern so the successful candidate will be working Days/Afternoons on a rotating basis, with normal hours of work being from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Salary:
Salary from 26,108 plus a 25% shift allowance
