Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently preparing goods for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to develop their skills within a dynamic logistics environment. All positions are paid, including internships, and prior warehouse or materials handling experience is advantageous.

Duties

Carefully select and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness Handle materials safely, including lifting heavy loads where necessary Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in accordance with safety protocols (training provided) Manage stock levels through effective stocking, picking, and packing procedures Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading lorries Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatching Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing targets and deadlines

Skills

Proven experience in materials handling, stock management, or warehouse operations Ability to operate forklift trucks safely (training can be provided) Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order processing software Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures Competence in picking & packing items efficiently while maintaining accuracy Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues Attention to detail for quality control purposes Physical capability for heavy lifting and load/unload tasks throughout the shift Organised approach to managing stock levels and maintaining workspace safety
This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to contribute effectively within a busy warehouse environment. Prior experience in warehousing or logistics is highly valued, but training will be provided where necessary.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
