About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse & Retail Assistant to join our fast-paced team. This position involves both warehouse and retail responsibilities -- ideal for someone who is organised, efficient, and enjoys a hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organising stock. Perform morning checks and order picking for customer deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare orders for dispatch by picking, packing, and labelling products accurately. Handle the till and front counter, providing excellent customer service and assisting with in-store sales. Check and verify stock accuracy, conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies. Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation. Assist with merchandising tasks, ensuring products are displayed neatly and effectively. Utilise basic maths skills for inventory management and order processing. Work in freezer and ambient sections, adhering to health and safety standards. Operate a forklift or pallet truck safely and efficiently (training can be provided). Demonstrate excellent time management to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations. Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, organised work environment at all times. Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Support other warehouse and retail duties as required by management.
Requirements

Previous warehouse or retail experience preferred but not essential. Ability to work in cold environments (freezer section). Forklift licence is an advantage (or willingness to obtain). Comfortable performing heavy lifting (up to 25 kg). Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. Must be reliable, punctual, and physically fit for warehouse work. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must speak English; Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are highly desirable.
