This is an exciting opportunity to join North Wales Raw Feeds as our Warehouse & Retail Operations Manager. You will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of both our warehouse facility and retail store, while also supporting our online customer service operations. Your goal is to ensure a smooth, efficient, and customer-focused experience across all channels -- in person and online.
As part of a small, family-run team, this is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent organisational ability, and a flexible, team-first attitude. We're looking for a reliable all-rounder who can adapt to changing priorities, work well under pressure, and isn't afraid to get stuck in.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations
Supervise, lead, and support a team of warehouse staff
Enforce punctual clocking in/out and manage break times effectively
Assign and oversee daily warehouse tasks, focusing on fast, accurate order fulfilment
Print orders, generate shipping labels, and arrange suitable substitutions when needed
Operate in walk-in freezers, including stock checks and picking orders
Log batch numbers, freezer temperatures, and stock movements into internal systems
Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, including recycling, general housekeeping, and equipment checks
Oversee goods in and out: unload deliveries, check against purchase orders, report discrepancies
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with back-office records
Load and prepare outgoing courier orders, ensuring secure packaging and labelling (up to 30kg per box)
Retail Store Operations
Oversee the smooth running of the retail shop during opening hours
Ensure shelves are fully stocked and product displays are clean and organised
Assist customers with product selection and enquiries, providing excellent service
Coordinate in-store order collections and liaise with warehouse staff for timely preparation
Support retail promotions, new product launches, and in-store merchandising
Help train and support new or junior shop staff as needed
Online Customer Services
Monitor and respond to customer enquiries via email and social media
Process online requests, address order issues, and offer practical solutions to customer concerns
Handle order amendments, substitutions, and delivery-related queries
Maintain a friendly, helpful, and professional tone in all communications
Liaise with warehouse and admin teams to ensure accurate, timely responses and follow-ups
Facility & Team Oversight
Act as a
key holder
during contracted hours: open/lock up the premises, set the alarm, and ensure site security
Be the first point of contact for alarm callouts (details registered with our security provider)
Ensure all team members adhere to health & safety guidelines across warehouse and retail areas

Other Requirements
Full, valid UK driving licence
Proof of right to work in the UK
Satisfactory references will be required
Physical capability to lift and move boxes (up to 30kg)
Comfortable working in cold environments and supporting team-wide tasks as needed
