Location:

MM Flowers Ltd, Huntingdon Road, Chatteris, PE16 6EG

Salary:

28,841.54 per annum (13.78 per hour)

Overtime:

Paid at 17.23 per hour

Hours:

Average 40.25 hours per week

Shift Pattern:

Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday (typically 6:30am-7pm)

Are you ready to step up and support operational excellence in a fast-paced warehousing and packaging environment? MM Flowers is looking for a motivated

Section Leader

to assist the Section Manager in managing daily activities across intake, packaging, or yard areas.

You will play a crucial role in leading your team, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and driving continuous improvements to meet production targets.

What You'll Do:

Support smooth and efficient operations within your assigned area, meeting performance targets Motivate and develop your team, providing guidance, training, and on-the-job coaching Monitor workflow and quickly address any delays to keep production on track Maintain compliance with health, safety, and GMP standards, conducting regular safety audits Act as a key communication link between operatives and management Complete accurate records and reports to keep leadership informed Identify and implement process improvements alongside the Section Manager

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in warehousing, intake, or packaging roles Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team Good organisational, communication, and time-management skills Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in production or warehouse settings Desirable: familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and health & safety certification (e.g., IOSH)
